Complete circle you’ve come --
Child of a father to father of a child.
With your parenting role showing a natural flare,
You transfer an enduring infusion of sensations to August,
From which he transmits to the next generation.
Having chosen a spouse so perfectly suited in style and temperament,
You’ve enriched the milieu in which Gus evolves,
Again, infusing him with sensations for doing his own relationship(s) effort.
And, you’ve made your own father proud and appreciative
Of the offerings you’ve made to our ever-expanding family circle,
Knowing the world is a better place as a by-product of it all!
You have my love and joy, on this special day, and always.
